Category 5: Co-creation of Urban Spaces by the Nobogonga River
Initiated, conceived and developed through intensive dialoug between the architect, the local municipality and the local community. The project has revitalized a series of neglected and disconnected spaces. It has established a vital link with the local river in a country defined by water. The new waterfront has been transformed into an accessible open vibrant public space and its clearly popular and well-used by all section of the community.
